I remembered an experience I wanted to share.
When we moved into the house in Littlefield the kitchen was a blue-green color, kind of dark and depressing and the cabinets and counter tops needed some TLC.Several years later I was working for Uncle Ordell and we had just finished a project and had some formica left over. I asked what he had planned to do with it and he said I could have it. Long story short, Dad and I went up to Heber's shop and Ordell and us built new upper cabinets then went down and installed them and put on the new formica. It was a mustard yellow color and with new white paint on the cabinets it really helped the looks of things. On a subsequent Saturday, Mom had a stake meeting in Logandale that would take her away for the whole day so Lyle and I hatched a plan to repaint the kitchen. We dashed off to Bowler's dept. store for some paint. What color? We looked over the paint samples and picked what we thought was a plesant yellow color that would go with the countertops and lighten the room up a bit. A lesson from the wise - those little paint chips are alot brighter on the wall! The paint was already bought and time was wasting so we put it on the wall. Mom came home and expressed her gratitude for us thinking of her and wanting to make things nicer and her kitchen was yellow of years to come. She finally confessed to me that she didn't really care for yellow. The love that a mother has for her kids really knows no bounds! Thanks MOM!

Questions
The more answers I get the more questions I have. So somebody help! First Aunt Ruth Born 1916 died 1981. I remember Mom going to see her in Eurkea Utah, and I understood she died there. Was she buried there? There is a Ruth Lofgreen in Central cemetery is that her? No dates or information on find a grave. She was married and I remember her kids. Johnny, Kenney and Connie. Who was her husband? I think she was married twice not sure. Her kids probably don't even know how to find her,If they could be found. Next where could I find Lena Lofgreen Mom's sister? I thought she was buried in Chandler. Next I remember a story something about Mildred's Husband Richard Maloy Smith born 1915 being buried on his own property. Does anyone know? Just a few questions. I found uncle Keith and I sent an email to Sena to tie him to his parents but no response yet. I also found uncle Cotton in the Safford union cemetery but he isn't in find a grave either. I just think it would be good to link all of the missing siblings together so anyone who wanted could find them and visit their graves. Please give me any help you can.

Check this out!

I spent a bunch of time trying to find out anything about Grandpa Lofgreen. Fredrick Martinez Lofgreen was born in Bowie Arizona. I found he has a brother Tony who is buried there. It was an old Fort the same as Fort Grant where Mom was born. Anyway I found this web sight called find a grave . com It is kind of neat. You can visit any cemetery without even leaving the computer. Now I'm hooked. I found Julian Cluff and his parents I am in the process of putting Lena in and seeing if I can tie her to Julian and Mom. I haven't found Wanda though I guess we need someone who is down there get her added too. It is a fun way to visit graves and pay your respects without having to travel. With the links it is a good way to check your genealogy. Now if I could just find somewhere to find some history. I know Mom use to talk about the welfare farm where they lived in Central. I went there with her and Glenda once and took some pictures but I haven't been able to find them. She attended high school in Chandler.
I found Grandma Lofgreen's parents are in Central and I am pretty sure they went there because they were called to settle it and farm there. Well check out the web site if you have some time.
